Regenerative Stem Cell Therapy

Stem cell therapy is offering exciting, long-term relief for people just like you that are suffering from joint pain, arthritis, and neuropathy.  The procedure takes less than 30 minutes with minimal pain and is extremely safe and effective.  You can use the power of regenerative medicine to heal your body and return to the life and activities you love.

Through our partnership with the Stem Cell Institute Of America, we are excited to offer this revolutionary regenerative therapy in our clinic. Our regenerative medicine protocol uses the healing potential of stem cells derived from placental tissue.  The placenta is a rich source of non-immunogenic stem cells, which nearly eliminates the risk of rejection or side effects while providing an incredible healing force in your body.  Over the span of a few months, the stem cells and growth factors help your body repair and re-grow cartilage, ligaments, tissues and even nerves.  This simple procedure can have an incredible impact on function and restore your pain-free life.

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy (PRP)

Increase the Body’s Regenerative and Restorative Healing Powers Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) Therapy is the first-ever form of regenerative treatment for joint, tendon, muscle, and ligament injury, cartilage degeneration, and a wide variety of chronic and neurological conditions. These injections utilize your body’s own concentrated platelets increasing your body’s healing process. Patients heal 2-5 times more quickly with the use of PRP Therapy.

The patient’s own blood is drawn and placed in a centrifuge machine which spins it at a very high speed to separate the plasma and platelets from the blood. The concentrated platelets are then re-injected into the patient’s affected or injured area. At Physical Healthcare of Jacksonville we use this state-of-the-art therapy in conjunction with rehabilitation to help the body’s natural healing mechanisms and enrich your ability to repair and regenerate.

Therapeutic Cold Laser Therapy

Cold Laser Therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light that produce effects such as improved healing time, pain reduction, increased circulation, decreased swelling and inflammation, as well as, vasodilation. Laser Treatments can be an alternative to prescription medications or NSAIDS.

Often times in our clinic, we use Cold Laser Therapy in Conjunction with Stem Cell, PRP, and Triggerpoint Therapies to rapidly increase healing and reduce pain.

Cold Laser Therapy Effectively Treats:

  • Achilles Tendinitis
  • Arthritis
  • Back / Neck / Knee / Shoulder / Ankle Pain
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Herniated Discs
  • Neuropathy
  • Plantar Fascitis
  • Sciatica
  • Tennis Elbow

Spinal Decompression

Spinal decompression therapy is a modern, non-surgical traction procedure that effectively treats low back, neck, and radiating leg and arm pain. This type of traction is very successful in relieving pain associated with spinal disc herniation, degenerative spinal discs, and facet joint syndromes.

As a result, bulging or herniated discs may retract, taking pressure off nerves and other structures in your spine. This in turn, helps promote movement of water, oxygen, and nutrient-rich fluids into the discs so they can heal.

Doctors have used nonsurgical spinal decompression in an attempt to treat:

  • Back or neck pain or sciatica, which is pain, weakness, or tingling that extends down the leg
  • Bulging or herniated disks or degenerative disk disease
  • Worn spinal joints (called posterior facet syndrome)
  • Injured or diseased spinal nerve roots

Pain Management

We specialize in Small and Large Joint, Trigger Point,  Plantar Fascia, Carpal Tunnel,  Nerve, and Neuropathy injections.

Computerized Nerve and Circulation Diagnostics: We utilize diagnostic tests  known as Nerve Conduction Velocity (NCV) testing and Electromyograms to  diagnose nerve related issues such as numbness, tingling, burning, itching, cooling, and radiating pain in the arms, hands, feet, and legs.

Orthopedic Support Bracing and Equipment: We provide our patients with long-lasting, personally fitted orthopedic support braces to stabilize, support, protect, and correct injuries or abnormal alignment.

Joint Care using Visco-Supplementation: We use a Hyaluronic Acid based product, which, is naturally derived, to supplement what has been lost in the knee joint due to Osteo- Arthritis. Hyaluronic Acid is found naturally in the  knee and deteriorates over time. Our Joint Care treatment replaces the natural lubricant  to delay and possibly prevent the need for a total knee replacement.

Headache and Migraine Treatments: We offer state-of-the-art headache and migraine procedures that produce immediate pain relief for our patients. Most patients see at least a 50% reduction in pain within an hour or less.

Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic

At Physical Healthcare of Jacksonville, we specialize in the Atlas Orthogonal Technique. Named after the Greek  god Atlas, the Atlas Orthogonal Technique is a non- manipulative approach to chiropractic care that focuses on aligning the first bone in the spine, the atlas. With  proper alignment of the atlas bone, the spine can remain stable and allow the body to heal itself.

The atlas bone is the “master control” bone that influences the other 23 vertebra of the spine into a corrected position allowing the nervous system to freely control and heal the body of pain and disease.

The Atlas Orthogonal Technique uses  percussion sound waves to gently align the atlas  bone with no stress on  the spine making it a safe, gentle chiropractic  treatment for anyone, including babies and  seniors.

Neuromuscular Massage Therapy

Neuromuscular therapy is a specialized form of deep tissue massage in which digital pressure and friction are used to release areas of strain in the muscle. These areas of strain are called tender or trigger points and are the cause of muscular pain symptoms.

We recommend neuromuscular massage therapy in conjunction with our Trigger Point Therapy treatments to increase the speed of healing and eliminating painful trigger points in the muscle tissue. By utilizing this comprehensive approach to treat trigger points, patients see a significant reduction in pain and muscle spasms, as well as, improved range of motion.
