Upon entering our office, our Patient Care Coordinator will welcome you and make copies of your insurance card(s) and driver’s license. We will also request that you complete our patient forms if you have not already done so, which can be found in the Patient Center of our website. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.
Next, you will have a consultation to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for team to learn more about you, your condition, and expectations to determine how our care can help you meet your goals.
After your consultation, you will receive an examination along with standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical testing. Rest assured; nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Depending on your specific condition, we may take X-rays as well. X-rays help us develop the most effective treatment plan for you, and alert us of any serious conditions. Most people are amazed once they see their X-rays up close and, in some cases, can even identify their misalignments and degeneration themselves.
Within 24-48 hours of your initial new patient visit, we will bring you back for your Report of Findings to review your x-rays and our findings from the examinations and testing that were performed. During your Report of Findings, you will learn the following:
After reviewing your health history, goals, x-rays, and your examinations, we will discuss our care recommendations and notify you if your condition requires care with other providers. You will also have time to ask any questions you might still have.
At the conclusion of your Report of Findings, you can choose to move forward with care and experience your first treatment or service. Treatment is interactive, so you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment anytime.
Prior to leaving, the doctor will suggest a wellness routine to incorporate outside of care in our clinic. If you are in pain when you first come into our office this may include ice or heat application instructions, certain activities or positions to avoid, and at home exercises and/or stretches. If you wish, our team will also work with you to create healthy habits and routines for your lifestyle. The purpose of our wellness routine is for you to achieve good spinal alignment, have a healthy diet, exercise, and maintain a positive mental state.
We’re Here to Help You on Your Path to Wellness.
